I have a baby on the way and I have no more time for it.. currently has 15k miles but I am still riding it as much as I can before snow fall. I baught the thing for $1100 in about a billion pieces, I repainted all the body parts and put new tires and front shocks on, $180 O-Ring chain is also bran new I actually just put it on. I did do quite a bit on the engine, but the carbs need cleaned and there are minor adjustments that still need to be done but it runs great, fast.. | anchorage - 2008 Ducati Hypermotard (S. Anchorage) 2008-10-01 3750 miles, just got it's 2nd oil change with Motul 15W50 full synth. Has the Termignoni 2-1 full titanium exhaust system with new ECU ($2650) as well as the DP accessory seat. Has all carbon fiber bodywork, side panels, and headlight mask. Has red Renthal fat bars. Never had more fun on a motorcycle and I doubt if I will again. School takes priority unfortunately for me. Bike has a recontructed title which I just got for it today. It was wrecked into the grass at 35mph, brought to the shop on a tow truck, then ridden away by me with nothing done but replacing the footpeg pin. Bike rides absolutely perfect, only had 204 miles at the time of the accident. Power is very rewarding, brakes are outstanding, and the sound just speaks for itself. Scratches on the frame made it total out very easily, but it's fairly difficult to tell its been down at a glance now. Can't stress enough that the damage resulting in the recon title was strictly cosmetic and the bike looks amazing now. Gets many looks and questions. Bike's $12,500 brand new, it's a 2008 with roughly $4K worth of aftermarket between the carbon body work and the exhaust system. I'm asking for any reasonable offers. 250-8546 - Zack |
