It got broken but has been repaired. ( New plastic for the hole bike can be bought off of ebay for about $50- $75). The bike has normal wear on it. Our son did ride it. I'm selling a 2001 Harley Davidson Sportster 1200. The bike has 6900 miles and runs great. The ft tire is about 50%, but the rear tire will need to be replaced soon. I replaced the rocker box gaskets about a year ago due to an oil leak. It doesn't leak any oil now. There is a dent on the rt side of tank and a small dent on top. (See pic). I replaced the stock bars with a set of T-Bars (11"rise) and relocated the ft turn signals.
This bike gets 40-45 mpg. The bike has forward controls. Previous owner put aftermarket pipes and mufflers on. It has that "Harley Sound", but not too loud.
I'm asking $4700, and will consider any trade or offer.

1989 ninja 250 new battery, spark plugs, 2 sets of carbs. The bike does not run, it was turning over about 3 weeks ago. It had no gas in it so it would not start, then the battery messed up and I had to replace it so in the down time I took off the fairings, tank, seat, and swing arm to clean it up. Got the new battery hooked it up and it would not turn over..... no sound but there are lights! :) I don't know anything about wiring on bikes so it could be an easy fix such as I missed a safety switch, or it could be the wiring harness. There are no keys to the bike. so I have toggled switched everything (new set of keys and ignition switch is about $20 up) I have a bill of sale leading to the original owner who had it running and said it would start every time. Then someone bought it from her and had it shipped to AL from Calli. (I have shipping info) then It was sold to someone else in AL then to me (I have bill of sale from everyone) One pic. is when I bought it. The other was when I stripped it down to clean it up (still stripped down so you can see what is great about the bike and what is wrong) will put back together if you would like me to.

I've ridden this on I-565 and it keeps up, but has nothing left at those speeds; you have to plan ahead if you want to pass someone. The bike is great for around town though, plenty of power and quicker than most cars on the road.
Really easy to ride. This bike only weighs 350 lbs, it's like a bicycle with a engine on it. Lots of people say the Rebel is a great starter bike and I agree. That said it's lots of fun for experienced riders who want something fun in the corners and in parking lots. Handles more like a sport bike than a cruiser.
I'm slowly working on polishing some of the chrome that's lost it's luster, and repainting the right rear passenger foot peg mounting bracket that has a bit of rust on it. Now that I'm not riding it every day I actually have a chance to do this. It's for sale as is though if you wan't to pick it up before I get around to polishing everything.
The title says the mileage on the odometer is not the actual mileage, but the condition of the bike appears right for the indicated mileage of 17000. I've never dropped the bike, but it does have dents in either side of the gas tank indicating it's been dropped by previous owners. The bike is mechanically sound, like I said I've been riding it almost daily for 1.5 years.
