The boat has been in fresh water and under cover for 95% of its life. The decks are Teak and are solid .no soft spots anywhere. All fiberglass is in great shape and the bottom was re-coated in 2001. It will need to be re-coated soon. The power supply is a Westerbeke 12kw and works great. The engines are Pleasure Craft twin 340hp gas and were new in 1998 and have about 300hrs on them .they run smooth as silk. The helm has radar, 5 fish finder and depth gage, radio and standard engine gages. Aft deck is teak with varnish. The boat has two bedrooms, center line queen master with head and shower. Forward V birth has new mattress and connecting head. Galley has stove, updated fridge, microwave, and new countertops. The salon has TV, stereo, recliner love seat and full size recliner. All this boat needs is some TLC and it would make a great live aboard or weekend getaway. Manufactured by Guardian back in the late 50's it has the classic fins. The boat was repainted using automotive quality acrylic enamel. All the fiberglass is in very good shape. The transom is solid and strong. Seats are in pretty fair shape and with some cleanaing up should get you through several summers. (Tacoma WA) $325 2008-09-11 This is a 1968 Arkansas Travelr probably the Sportsman 15' aluminum hull very deep sides and a fiberglass cap for steering, seat and windshield. Has 1966 Seahorse 33HP with good compression, pull start long shaft and good prop. New fuel lines and filter...carb will be rebuilt by the end of the week (9-12). Motor started but fuel was going everywhere that's why the rebuild. Early type push pull steering and remote motor controls that match the Evinrude Seahorse. Seats need help. Tansom has been rebulit with good sturdy aluminum plate looks like half inch solid plate. Aluminum diamond plate battery box shelf/holder added. Fix seats and you are ready to go! Floor boards are solid but in need of replacement, just look nasty. And she has potential for someone with aluminum skills to make her a really nice custom or restored boat. It could be made into a very nice center console type boat with its deep sides...I just don't have the time! No trailer, but delivery can be arranged as there is a trailer available to move it somewhat locally. I have the unit, trolling motor/shoot-through transducer, mounting bracket, face cover, and power cable. The power cable will need to be extended to reach the back of the boat. When the dealer removed it from my boat, the cable had already been extended but they threw away the second portion that went back to the battery. I do have the actual part that plugs into the unit.
