- 1983 Skeeter Bass Boat, '86 150hp Evinrude (Hackett) $2700
I am selling my 1983 Skeeter Starfire 150. Registered at 16 ft long. Rated for 7 people or 885 lbs. It has a 1986 Evinrude XP 150 with a SS prop (in good shape), motor serviced in August. The motor has a hot foot throttle control and jack plate. I clocked the boat with a GPS at 60 mph with myself driving and one passenger. The trolling motor is a 24 volt Evinrude, that only runs on high speed. All three batteries on the boat have plenty of power and life left in them. The front depth finder is a Lowrance, the console mounted depth finder is a Huminbird. The rear deck has a double livewell, the aerator on it works. Bilge pump works. The hull is in good condition, only a few minor nicks, definately no major cracks or fiberglass repair ever. No water stains, washed everytime when pulled out of the water. The seats could probably be replaced withing a year, but they are not terrible by any means. Carpet is in good shape and looks good, lots of storage on the boat. The boat comes with a tripod ski pole, works real good for tubing, etc. It also has a matching boat/motor cover that is always on it. The trailer's tires are less than a year and a half old, all the lights on the trailer work. Just in time for awesome fall fishing, or this boat could get you to that favorite duck hole too. So here is what I have i will gladly make a list of names if you want something after the motor is gone but id like to keep the boat whole so that i can show the motor runs and drives.
4.3L V6 Alpha One inboard motor. Runs may need tuneup but ill get it up to par if someone is interested and take them for a spin before pulling. Built on a GM block. $600.00 without outdirve or $800 with and you remove.
Will part out the rest as needed as far as the boat parts go has all the glass in good condition can check gauges to see if they work but they are all there also has bimini top in good condition. All chrome railing is good. Gas tank could come out floors are bad anyway. swim platform and ladder on back still.
The trailer is a Tennesse trailer and is blue with black wheels new tires (they are car tires not boat but work fine for the smaller boats thats what was on it when i got it) Some of the grip tape has peeled up a little nothing major trailer looks good and pulls great has bearing buddies on it good well built trailer. Will sell trailer after motor is gone for $600.00 or trade for nice factory built utility trailer.
