PRICE REDUCED FOR QUICK SALE! *1971 700+ H.P. PRO-STREET FORD PINTO HOT ROD. This Hot Rod has 10 miles since its complete frame-off restoration. Basically everything is new including everything attached to the the original 289 block that came out of a 67 Mustang. The balanced and blueprinted block was bored 40 over to a 347 Stroker and the heads were polished and ported. The 2 x 4 intake was from a 67 Shelby Cobra and has been port matched to the heads. The following components are all new: * Keith Black Stroker rods * Keith Black 11 to 1 domed aluminum pistons * Keith Black Stroker forged steel crank * 1.7 roller rockers * Competition solid high lift cam * Stainless steel swirl polished valves * Double roller timing chain * Dual remote oil filters * Holley electric fuel pump * Dual Edelbrock 500 cfm carburetors * Dual carb quad air scoop * Jet Hot coated headers * MSD Billet distributor * MSD 6AL ignition * MSD Blaster coil * Nitrous Pro-Shot system (adjustable from 50 - 250H.P.) The transmission is a Muncie M22 Rockcrusher, Hurst roll control (line-lock), Hurst shifter with a polished T handle and a Hayes performance dual friction clutch. The drive shaft is a Dana custom connected to a heavy duty 9 inch rear with hardened axels, an Auborn locker and 4:10 gears. All of the wiring was professionally done and includes an Auto Meter master switch panel, Auto Meter gauges, a battery disconnect and a TCI electric radiator fan cooling a Howe aluminum racing radiator. There is a full tube chassis attached to the stock frame for agility, an 8 point roll cage, 5 point harness racing belts, and a trunk mounted 12 gallon stainless fuel cell. The body is in perfect condition and has shaved door handles, a shaved gas cap and the antenna hole has also been filled. The paint is a gorgeous black with painted red flames. There is a removable wheelie bar and the Drag Star rims and tires are all new as well. This car is completely street legal and totally ready for the strip. All it will need is a tune-up and timing adjustment based upon your elevation. This will surely impress everyone that sees it. Will consider trading for a T-Bucket.
