1971 CHEVROLET CORVETTE,Numbers matching Chevrolet Corvette LS6 454ci/425hp. T-Top Coupe. 8500 original miles. Second owner. War Bonnet Yellow with black leather interior. One of only 188 LS6 cars built. This car has the M22 "Rock Crusher" 4-spd transmission. According to the NCRS, there are only 58 LS-6 cars known to exist with only 36 of the remaining cars having the M-22. Only 130 Corvettes were equipped with the M22 in 1971. The LS-6 option included aluminum heads, 4 bolt mains, forged pistons & rods, mechanical lifters, transistor ignition, aluminum intake & Holley carburetor. This car has 8500 original miles and has been certified to be Bow Tie judged in 3 of 4 categories by the NCRS. It is nearly all original with the exception of the radiator, exhaust and some paint work on the driver's side and rear. The correct and dated smog system has been re-installed on the car since the engine photos were taken. The car is optioned as follows: custom interior package, am-fm stereo, audio alarm system, white letter tires and 3:70 rear. This car has all of the original and authentic (not reproduction) documents, including original window sticker, bill of sale, protecto plate, tank sticker (still on tank) and a letter from John DeLorean to the original owner. I have other original and authentic GM, Chevy dealership and owner documents in my file on the car. The original owner of this car was meticulous in his care and documentation.
