1998 Maxum 4100 SCR, 41' The Maxum 4100 SCR is a roomy, well styled cruiser whose low price will certainly appeal to those seeking an affordable family express. Like all Maxum models, she's constructed on a solid fiberglass hull and her integral bow pulpit, reverse radar arch, and huge swim platform add considerably to her sleek profile. The 4100 SCR is one of the larger express boats available in today's new-boat market, and it's no surprise that her cockpit accommodations are generous indeed. There's seating for eight with double wide bench seats forward and facing lounge aft, each with a removeable table. A built-in wet bar is standard, and a pair of gas-assist hatches in the cockpit sole provide access the engine compartment. The swim platform is wide enough to carry a PWC. At each corner of the transom are molded steps leading to the sidedecks, a clever (and convenient) feature. Belowdecks, the mid-cabin interior of the 4100 SCR is arranged in the conventional style with the convertible U-shaped lounge/double berth aft and an inland berth forward.
